Usually come here for are fish and chips and always happy but tonight I'm not happy at all. My girls went in and ordered a battered burger fish cake and chips, battered burger sausage and chips small portion of chips and curry sauce it came to nearly £15, we didn't even get the small portion of chips as we checked before leaving shop, they wanted more money for the forgotten chips and this is when I was told how much they had already been charged. I went in to question this and asked to see my receipt where I was refused and given the chips and told to leave and that everything was right. We’ve ordered a big family order including cod, skate, scampi and kids meals. The skate was awful, the batter was so dry and crusty and there wasn’t much of it even though on the menu it was advertised as large size (photo attached below). Nextly, the chips on all the meals were quite dry, additionally we’ve ordered a curry sauce with one of the meals and it was missing when we collected the order. Unfortunately it was too late as we were already home when we realised. This has got to be the worst fish and chips I've ever had. My husband had a large cod and it was mainly batter, the fish I would class as small in comparison to other fish shops.
