The Brasserie — Restaurant in South Norfolk

The food is nice, nothing I ate tasted horrible but its not quite got the oomph. Its not worth the price tag. I've stayed here for a few days now so we have tried a few things and I'm wondering-is there any dish that doesn't come with a full courgette chopped into it 🤔

Anyway if I was to complain about something it was the gem truffle salad with parmesan which I paid a fiver for. Literally a small handful of rocket with runny parmesan. I got this with a portion of chips just as snacks whilst having a drink outside, OMG like 20 small chips if I'm lucky and the salad for £10. I'm actually so surprised this chef is not mortified to be serving something so...

Up there with the worst burgers I’ve ever had. Cold and burnt (the burger was crunchy), and made with the cheapest ingredients, so had to send it back, came out abit warmer. The coleslaw tasted like it was Tesco essentials and so did the burger. The curry tasted like a microwave meal, and had a side of tzatziki??? And then we had to pay £19+ for each meal. The food is extremely overpriced for what you get. The service with slow but staff were friendly, probably the best thing about the experience. The food was OK in general except we were given stale bread at £2 per slice. The service was hit and miss and seemed very chaotic. Also they did not provide the food we asked for and one meal had to go back to the kitchen.
