It’s 15:45 on a Friday afternoon. I walked in to the branch to order an espresso. The door was open and as far as I was concerned so was the business, but no. I was greeted with ‘we’re closed!’, to which I must have looked surprised, and before I could apologise, the lady mentioned that she thought it would have been pretty obvious to me that they were not open. Toilet was out of action. The seating area was grubby and in need of a clean yet shop wasn't busy.
Fridge for sandwiches is not operating correctly as it was noisy and in need of a repair. The fridge noise, coupled with the overly loud ambient music, makes chatting over a coffee hard work.
Staff are pleasent but "extra hot" coffee was just warm. There are much better coffee shops in Henley.
Service is friendly but slow, if you're in a hurry then best...
