The Village Plaice — Restaurant in South Oxfordshire

First time visit to get a fish supper so I could compare with the chippy in my local town. Told after I'd placed the order that it was cash only - but there's zero mention of this on either the website, their Facebook page or here in this Google listing. As in these post-pandemic times I seldom carry cash, so I therefore had to traipse to the Co-Op supermarlet down the road and withdraw cash from the machine in the store, before returning to the chippy to complete the order. Got the food home within 5 minutes, and whilst the chips, the peas and the curry sauce was lovely the fish was a letdown. I ordered some food tonight and my order was wrong I ordered two bouble burger and got two singles that not want I ordered? 23rd November. Placed an order this evening took 7 attempts for them to pick up the phone. Service over the phone was terrible. The food was cold barely warm. Used to use them all the time will definitely not be using them again absolutely awful and a waste of money as the food ended up in the bin after 2 mouth fulls.
