Lovely spot, especially if you're tagging on a swim etc. Beautiful views on a sunny day. The cafe has a nice vibe and staff are all friendly and polite.

However, I was let down today when I asked for a Gluten Free breakfast. Being Coeliac, most places now offer something and this place is no different, it says so in the menu! I ordered the Gluten Free alternative breakfast after I was told they don't stock gluten free bread for a sandwich. After paying, the waitress came out to tell me that the chef said they're too busy to do it (whatever that means) and can't guarantee that it would be gluten free - I did say the risk of contamination was ok.

So I sat there with a coffee whilst my friends tucked into their (what looked delicious) breakfast.

I'll definitely be back after the next swim but I hope they don't mind if I...

What a wonderful secluded yet popular cafe busy with cyclists, swimmers and Aqua park visitors. Beautiful views from tables, choices to eat outside or wander over towards the Aqua park where there’s an undercover seated area and a further take away cafe for hot food snacks and a range of hot and cold drinks. The food is of high quality especially their sausage rolls which I was lucky enough to purchase before they ran out! What lovely staff! Charmaine served me a with a bit of a queue during a surge of hungry cyclists and swimmers remained cheerful, efficient and friendly. Others also worked speedily too while remaining polite and friendly. It’s added to a wonderful memorable day. I wish I’d discovered Wet n Wild and Wandering...

Love coming here - great aesthetics, location, friendly service and food. Hope to start the swimming again soon as well. Unable to have the burgers due to a necessary low fat diet, the staff were very helpful in adapting a salad plate for me - Charmaine went through all the options for me at our table, and the salad was really varied and tasty with a mix of protein and different veggie 'sub-dishes'. My husband was very happy with his wild boar burger and chips - lucky him! We have tried all the burgers between us on previous occasions, and when there were no dietary restrictions, and they are very good, as are the toasties and cakes. Just the breakfasts to try next - a veggie one...

Another lovely visit ! The Staff Especially Pav & Chelsea are always so helpful , Welcoming & Friendly. On this occasion we visited for breakfast & opted for the smaller breakfast choice on the menu which was more than enough, Two delicious large sausages , Crisp Back bacon , beans , hash brown, fried egg & toast on the side . All perfectly cooked. It was very busy as usual with summer wild water swimmers & locals alike but the food arrived without delay & piping hot . We are really looking forward to the cooler months to welcome back the cosy atmosphere of the wood burner.

Our experience of service on a busy sunny Saturday was appalling. Took 45mins for a mediocre salad. Is that ok? There was no queue? (Older lady with glasses at till has zero customer care awareness and talks over you while you're ordering, then makes you wait for her to chat to staff without apology. Shame cos others working hard and polite). Food is average not great. Don't get complacent, Wanderers, just cos you're having a great summer. Reputation is everything for those long, cold winter months!

Came here for a bite to eat before paddle boarding. Glad it’s biker friendly too. Bit of a queue to order food. Staff were incredibly polite and accommodating despite all looking very tired. Ordered cheeseburger and fries. Burger was rather well cooked although fries and salad were ok. Would revisit, maybe when it’s quieter. Would make an interesting biker venue instead of H as food and service much better. Maybe some more choice such as jacket potatoes and sandwiches? Thanks for a great venue.
