Pear Tree Inn Penwortham — Restaurant in South Ribble

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Was in here two weeks ago and saw a guy glass another guy. 3 feet away from me. Told the landlady and the guy was still in the pub 50 mins later. After reviewing the CCTV footage she said he'd been barred. Just walked in and I see him laughing it up with his cronies. Apparently he's a local drug dealer (although that's purely hearsay from a couple of people who were talking to me about him). Landlady told me that the guy who did the glassing was barred. When I informed her I saw him tonight she told me that she'd "received complaints about me too". Now I've never glassed anyone or been violent to anyone and I always buy the bar staff drinks so I'm not sure exactly what these "complaints" that she's so vague...

A hidden gem ! Stopped by this pub on a sunny afternoon and was thoroughly impressed. The beer garden is a real highlight, spacious, relaxed, and perfect for enjoying a drink outdoors. I had a lovely gin from their impressive selection; there’s no shortage of choice when it comes to alcohol here.
