This is a really nice cafe for breakfast/brunch. The staff are friendly and everybody in the area seems to be really friendly which is nice. It's in a nice location and there is parking (Sainsbury car park) I had the Eggs Royale with two sausages and mushrooms on the side. There mushrooms looked and tasted nice and there sausages were nice albeit a bit salty. The eggs Royale was fine, but I always welcome a bit more salmon. I like my hollandaise sauce separate but it was an OK sauce it was still warm which is good and was not to vinegary. I had a large caramel hot chocolate with all the trimmings, whilst small it was nice and came hot not warm. I did enjoy the caramel iced latte. I also ordered some cakes to take away, a stuffed cookie (Amazing) roll caramel slice (fantastic) and a kinder cookie slice ( beautiful). No idea didn't eat them all at once. I would definitely come back again and try some of the other options and definitely more cakes.

We couldn’t have asked for a better spot than Café 29 for our friend’s bridal brunch! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel so welcome—nothing was too much trouble, and they truly went above and beyond to make the morning special. And the food? Absolutely banging! We ordered a little bit of everything, but hands down, the brioche French toast stole the show. Fluffy, buttery, and just the right amount of sweetness—it was perfection. Every single dish was delicious, and the service was spot-on the whole way through. Huge thank you to the team for letting us use the space and making us feel so at home. You made our celebration even more special, and we’ll definitely be back!

We visited Cafe 29 for the first time yesterday, for breakfast on my daughters (25th) birthday. I've worked in perton for a long time, ( admittedly at night!) but did not know this place existed until we googled ' French toast' which was what my daughter wanted 😁 It's a lovely little cafe, the staff were helpful and super friendly, they obviously knew a lot of their customers this means they have a lot of return custom which is always a good sign! The menu was varied and interesting and there was a specials board too. I had the Rosti stack and it was delicious. My one daughter had the Kinder French toast from the specials, and my other daughter had the vegetarian breakfast. They both really loved the food. We also had lattes and a pot of tea, all lovely. The latte art was a nice touch! Before we left we chose 4 cakes for £10 to take away - they were big cakes for single portions and are still on the go- All really tasty too! Thank you Cafe 29, my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her...

In the last 3 days I have been everyday. I havnt said anything. But I asked for sausage and bacon ... It was all plonked in the middle . Ok. Second time asked for toasted bread with sausage and mushroom. Was fine but the toast was basically a tiny bit toasted. Went today and asked for sausage and tomato, but this time more toasted than yesterday. Turned out burnt to the point where I couldn't eat around the outside so it all went to waste. I didn't enjoy it at all. I believe in saying how you feel. But I'm getting fed up on saying I need to be particular. Really nice staff so there's nothing to moan about them. But the food is important for future customers which might not say and just walk off any not say anything. Could definitely be more happy. Especially I could go to a cheap place for breakfast and get...
