The Star has long been a favourite of our family of all generations at the heart of our village. Our interaction became even more special recently when Ally and her team hosted my Moms funeral wake. Commutation and ease of arrangements were first class. The quality of the food was fabulous and plentiful with a great selection of the homemade scotch eggs, sausage rolls along with tasty sandwiches and hot chicken, chips and cakes. The atmosphere and quality of drinks and service couldn’t be faulted and as a family we’ve received some really lovely comments on how well looked after we all were and how both the inside and outside seating worked well. The team never fail to delver homely professional customer service and I would highly recommend for a special place to simply catch up with friends and family at any occasion. Great atmosphere, good selection of drinks, friendly and helpful staff made the busy Friday evening we were there a pleasure. Limited parking space is available right outside the pub, but more spaces are nearby.
