I am compelled to share my recent experience at the McDonald's branch. Unfortunately, I must express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the service I encountered during my visit.
From the moment I stepped into the establishment, it was clear that something was amiss. The treatment I received from the staff members named "Matty," "Alex," and "Rachel" was nothing short of appalling. Their behaviour towards me and my family was utterly unacceptable and inhumane. Instead of the courteous and respectful service one would expect, we were treated with aggression and disdain.
What shocked me even more was the fact that my concerns were blatantly ignored. The staff went to great lengths to avoid any form of communication, even going so far as to disregard our calls. This deliberate negligence only added to the frustration of the situation.
To make matters worse, this incident wasn't an isolated occurrence. It pains me to say that this was the third time we have experienced such mistreatment at this branch. Looking back at previous problems I have reported, it's disheartening to see a pattern of disregard for customer satisfaction.
What truly crosses the line is the treatment my elderly grandmother received during our visit. Not only were we denied proper service, but she was subjected to threats and intimidation from the very staff who are supposed to uphold a certain level of professionalism.
This experience left our family without a meal for our child, as we were unable to drive and faced a considerable journey to reach the restaurant. The dismissive and aggressive attitude displayed by "Matty," "Alex," and "Rachel" was nothing short of shocking. Their behaviour, which included sarcastic remarks and even laughter, made us question whether this is truly the standard that McDonald's upholds.
As someone who has held a positive view of McDonald's over the years, I am deeply saddened to see the reputation of this once-respected establishment tarnished by such behaviour. It is my hope that this review serves as a wake-up call for the management to address these serious issues and take steps to ensure that no customer has to endure such mistreatment in the future.
In closing, I sincerely hope that my feedback is taken seriously and that necessary actions are taken to rectify the situation. As it stands, I cannot in good conscience recommend this particular McDonald's branch to anyone seeking a pleasant and respectful...
   Read more   Read moreABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! :( i ordered a rather large order (about ÂŁ35) through the mcdonaldâs app, went to collect it and used the app to say that weâd arrived in the pick up bays outside. we then continued to waited for our food to be brought out, once itâd reached half an hour since weâd arrived, we rechecked the app and it said that our food had been collected (nobody had even left the store so our order couldntve have been mixed up with somebody elseâs). so we joined the drive thru queue and waited an extra 10 minutes when we saw a worker come out and hold, what looked like, our order. is this really fast food?! we spoke to a blonde haired lady (shift manager) at the drive thru and she assured us that she had remade our order fresh, which iâll have to dispute as the food was stone cold and the mcflurrys were like milk with chocolate flakes scattered throughout. the meal sizes were completely wrong and a meal was missing. so we called them, spoke to that lady again and halfway through the conversation says that the phone line was breaking up (although it was just a machine in the background) and hung up the phone on us. we called again and waited another 25 minutes for the phone to be answered; once it eventually was, we were given a code for the whole order (this was confirmed multiple times) to be remade that would be valid at any date. we returned a week later and tried to reorder the food using the code and the blonde woman weâd spoken to before told us that the code was only useable on the one meal that was missing. we called again asking for the womanâs name in order to file a complaint to which we were told âwe canât, for data protectionâ (although all employees wear name badges and asking for a first name is not a breach of data protection). terrible customer service, not surprised this mcdonaldâs in particular has such a...
Wasn't particularly impressed by the service.
I entered with my sister in a wheelchair, and it was just crowded there were people stood around everywhere with no signs or directions showing you where to wait.
We ordered to cold drinks and waited about 25 minutes before we received them, even though they had been sitting on the drinks table behind the counter for at least 10 minutes before that.
The manager/supervisor was helping the staff to put together the orders but was also being visibly and audibly rude to the staff whilst doing so which just made me feel uncomfortable
We had avoided the drive thru because the queue was backed up to the point of being dangerous, but then saw at least 20 cars being served whilst the 5 people in store were still waiting for there orders.
However, the caramel frappucino was incredible and my sister enjoyed her chocolate milkshake
It just wasn't worth the wait at all, it would have all been made better if they had at least apologised for the wait. Instead when someone asked how much longer it would take the staff simply snapped and said they couldn't control how long...
