Pizza Corner South Shields — Restaurant in South Tyneside

Abysmal. Bought spicy chicken burger tower with chicken piece and side of beans. Mrs got the same with coleslaw (well, was supposed to be coleslaw but beans arrived).

Burger - mushy with no flavour or texture, hash brown was mangled. Sauce wasn’t spicy at all and the lettuce was thrown in lazily and was mostly hanging out. A child could make a nicer burger and would probably put more effort in to it.

Chicken piece - Soggy batter, again, no flavour. Bit in to it and it was PINK! Did not eat.

Beans - Well you can’t go wrong with beans can you? Turns out you can. Beans were hard and cold, practically uncooked. Did not eat.

Chips - Lots of them to be fair, but unfortunately they were cold and rubbery. Had likely been sat in the warmer for hours.

Delivery - 1hr 15 minutes. Hardly fast food. Wouldn’t have minded if the food was nice but considering the standard, £2.50 to have it brought to us was extremely excessive.

2 years ago was the last time we ate there and it was equally as bad, but time is a healer and we thought they might have improved. Unfortunately it was worse. Last time we complained and was met with a barrage of abuse so not gonna bother this time. Just won’t return EVER. And recommend you don’t waste your money either. You’ll enjoy beans on toast more.

NO STARS ,,,,,, ordered food £15.99, ,, gave cashier £16.00 ,,, asked for my change ,,, was told " its £16.00 ,we dont have pennies in this shop, you have to have correct money in here.." I asked again for my change, as price is £15.99 ,,thinking he was joking,,,, The food was then taken away and i was told to go,,,,and i was told to come back later with correct money, and i could have my food. I said it would be 2hrs before i can come back ," His reply was ,, "you will get this food,, not freshly cooked stuff". Was told i will not get served next time ,,, even though they stole my change... The staff were absolutely shocking with no customer care at all ,,, maybe they have no pennies in the shop, but i think its by choice. NEED TO HAVE CORRECT MONEY FOR PAYING YOUR BILL ,,,, NEXT TIME IT WILL ALL BE IN PENNIES... NO STARS ,,,, WOULDNT LET ME POST IT WITHOUT...

Red chilli is under new management... and it shows. Wont be going back. raw pizza, under cooked chicken and disgusting kebab. I ordered at 25 past and told it would take 25 minutes to cook, we arrived 30 minutes and after, standing in the shop like tools for 40 minutes we witnessed the horrible cooking habits... the chips come with free chicken since they are cooked and mixed together (not good for vegetarians). The had received multiple angry complaints and when the hung up the phone (even with us standing there) they laughed at the customers behind their backs. Someone even thrented to contact training standards on them. I do understand that it is new to them but they have clearly bitten more than they can chew.... just like me who will be spending most of the day tomorrow on the toilet.
