The Greyhound Inn — Restaurant in South Tyneside

We actually booked this place for my daughter’s wedding party. They have a rustic venue area with fairy lights which make the rooms look magical. There is a large area split into two with an open door way and an open wall so you can see through to both sides. They can provide a buffet menu. We had the hot food at £6.95 per head and it was delicious. They were open to dietary menu change as my daughter is vegetarian. The is also a small area for music. So I’ve recently had my 40th birthday in the greyhound inn function room and wow! What an amazing room! All of my guests absolutely loved it, the room is absolutely stunning and I would highly recommend it. It would be perfect for any occasion and even weddings. Lovely venue. I was there for a baby shower so we were in a private part of the bar. The setup was lovely, the space was great and the area was well sectioned off but with easy access to the toilets and the food they provided was great.
