Terrible service waited 1 hour and 10 minutes for Sunday lunch. No one came over to us to say sorry for the delay until we complained. Other diners that came in after us had been served before us. The manager did eventually talk to us and said he allows 1 hour for service. Normal good restaurants allow 20 minutes at the most. Food was mediocre

Sorry your response is unacceptable and insulting to me. I am an amature chef and have been to hundred’s of top class restaurants in the UK , America and throughout Europe. I have actually worked in the kitchen’s of Hazelwood Castle and House of Tides, amongst others , i also owned a cafe in Jarrow,so I speak with some authority. Your time of 1 hour to service is too long, in my opinion. We got more frustrated having seen other customers who came in after us being served before us. Having said all this if you change your ethos of 1 hour to 20 minutes I am sure it will help. I wish you every success with your business it is much needed in this...

A beautiful restaurant inside, most of the staff are friendly. One lady, a manager I think who would benefit from being a little warmer, smiling even, but perhaps this was from being busy, she was efficient and polite. The food was average. Chicken crema was under seasoned and chicken was tough and watery, like it had been boiled? Lack of flavoursome sauce. The same can be said for the stroganoff, a little underwhelming and not creamy. However, my son had pizza and it was beautiful, pasta on other tables looked hot and fresh. Coffee and cake were also fab. Had an unnecessary confrontation with a male member of staff who was extremely rude and intimidating. We were booked for a meal but ended up having one drink due to how intimidated I felt. Contacted the manager via Facebook to make them aware of the situation who then made out I was lying (all the staff stood and watched it) however I think this male member of staff was the manager. Also called me a vile name under his breath as he was walking away and he was heard by others. Never experienced anything like this in...
