Their food is always hit and miss. I love going there for breakfast after I've had an odd shift at work. Preps me ready for the day ahead. I always used to have their vegetarian breakfast wraps, but I had to stop ordering them because they started looking like someone had thrown the wrap around the kitchen before making it. Plus they don't melt the cheese and because its like a slice of cheddar when you bite into it its a weird sensation, you get all the hot from the hash browns etc then you reach this cold mush. It isn't great. However, I have now found the sausage muffins, and they are beautiful. For less than £5 I can get a quorn muffin, with an unlimited hot drink and hash brown! Honestly it is such an amazing deal. I would highly recommend, especially if you like a maccys breakfast, I'd go to butlers Bell over maccys any day of the week. The staff are all so lovely. Always full of smiles. Especially this one lady, I wish I knew her name, she's blonde, so kindly spoken, she works so hard, I swear she never has a day off, every time I've been there she's been on shift. She honestly deserves a raise, she is fantastic, always on the go, guiding others, cleaning, having a laugh with regulars, and just generally kicking butt.

Edit: 31st Dec 2022: Went in today for lunch, decided to try the sliced turkey with winter veg but had chips instead of mash. Gravy was cold, but to be fair they did reheat it for me, and to be completely honest you would be happier with a microwave meal from Iceland. Ordered gammon egg and chips but got boiled ham, made me feel sick 🤮. Pepsi was nice though Went again and had pasta alfredo and it was freezing cold (not exaggerating) Coffee was nice for a change Edit: 19th Jan 2023: Went back today for lunch and had chicken tikka masala and a coffee . The masala was ok ,poppadoms were a bit too greasy for my liking and hardly any chicken in the curry but apart from that it was ok. I would like to just say that I know they have mango chutney with the curry but it would make it bette/more enjoyable if they put a small pot of mint yoghurt with it aswell . Just a suggestion maybe ?

Nice modern looking Wetherspoons let down by whoever cooked my burger...... American Cheeseburger. New on the menu, thought I would be choosing an easy to cook, no brainer option but both my burgers were so burnt they crunched. OK so they replaced it with no fuss, but this time they forgot to toast the bun and it was cold, the burgers were still burnt too but not as bad as before. I think the worst part was my mate laughing at me as his fish and chips were perfect and I had ignored his advice on having the same. The chips and beer were excellent btw. Lovely decor and an ok atmosphere, very empty of people considering we went Friday 7pm compared to my local Wetherspoons which is rammed to bursting every Friday and Saturday.

I am usually impressed by Wethersooon pubs however this one left me feeling disappointed. The staff are friendly and took care to follow the Covid19 protocols. Food and drink was delivered promptly and to the usual standard. Sadly the pub is looking tired with a need for a refit. The toilets in particular need urgent attention. In the current environment maintaining a sanitary environment is very important. The toilets need comprehensive repair and maintenance at the very least.

A very good Wetherspoon pub and restaurant that used to be the home of Apres when I worked in the town around 10 years ago. I had the vegan burger meal with the alcohol deal for around £7. The food was hot and the burger would have been better if there was some pickles with sauce on. The roasted vegetables were excellent. The pint of Shipyard craft beer was perfect. All in all a worthwhile trip to one of the best Wetherspoons in the county of Staffordshire

Working next door for a new bathroom showroom and could smell the food through the wall.. Starving, I decided to give it a go... The place was clean and tidy... Staff where polite and very helpful.. I ordered the breakfast... £4.99... Seems a bit cheap... Took a table waited. My food arrived 15 mins later.. It was hot and ok... Bacon was well overdone and the hash browns had been nucked... But it was only £4.99... Worth the money... But could be better...
