At first we were excited to visit the restaurant, when we arrived we were welcomed by a staff member. When we sat at the table and ordered the drink it was time to choose our food. We come with our Indian friend who is not eating meat when you look at the menu each dish has meat (yes you can ask for a vegetarian option) but she was not satisfied with her food. I had chicken korma omg this was chicken breast in sweet sauce,I didn't like it at all, chicken breast was fresh but the sauce was far from what I ate in other Indian restaurants. Bill was high compared with other places where we had sides, main and extras plus afterwards coffee, tea and something sweet this was just a food and soft drinks. Plus the £14.70 table surcharge total was £161 so this was a lot. The staff was friendly and helpful. So in general we are dissatisfied unfortunately.

Visited with friends on a mid-week evening. Waiting staff are very keen. - Keen to take your order & I think all 3 waiting staff came to see if we were ready to place order. Starters quick to arrive, tasty. As soon as cutlery put down, plates whipped away within a minute, don't necessarily wait until everyone is finished before clearing away. Mains promptly delivered. Hot, tasty, good portions. Chicken had no fear of being undercooked, in fact, rather well-cooked, verging on dry in my opinion. Nevertheless, curry was tasty. Attentive staff, will remove anything empty off the table. Was brought dessert menu twice, on second occasion, having not wanted anything further, bill was produced. Certainly "curry-in-a-hurry". Not so great if you're trying to catch up with friends, but food was good.

Called in for some food before my train home and all I can say is, WOW. I've eaten Indian food all over the UK and the world and this is right up there with the best of them. I had the Lamb Pasanda and shared the Peshwari Naan. My mate had the Garlic Chilli Chicken. Mine was one of the nicest things I've ever eaten and my mate said his was just as good. The staff are welcoming and friendly. We were seated quickly and served in good time. It won't be long before I'm back in Stevenage and The Bombay will be my first choice for food. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Went here for a friends birthday. The refurbishment of the restaurant is tastefully done and it's much nicer inside now. The food was good, not an extensive menu and the "Nepalese" specials were all too hot for me to try so I stuck with my faithful tandoori king prawns. Possibly the nicest aubergine bhaji I've had though and the prosecco was a nice drop. I would have given more stars had the staff been more engaging. Most unusual for an Indian restaurant but we weren't made to feel particularly welcome and no friendly chat from the waiters. The restaurant advertises as being open till midnight but from around 1030 it was obvious that they were looking to close , despite us having ordered another bottle of fizz The music was switched before 11 so we took the hint , paid up and left. We probably would have ordered another round of drinks if we had felt welcome. So , good food and if you're looking for a have your food and leave with as little interaction with staff as possible experience this is the place for you. If you're having a bit of a celebration and want to have a leisurely and fun experience then maybe look elsewhere which is a shame as the food really was...
