Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Sunderland

Coffee fine, staff awful.

Went here a few times after work, three staff behind the counter who couldn't seem to produce a coffee within a reasonable time. After paying I was told to take a seat while my brew was being prepared.

My gripe: when the coffee is ready staff simply yell out to tell you to come and get it. What is the problem with chains like Costa? Are they sooooo worried that if one customer gets a coffee delivered to their table their whole business model will collapse?

Tall Long haired lady who served me was extremely rude for absolutely no reason! I visited this store and was very impressed with the service I received. I am gluten free and therefore very cautious when eating and drinking out. I asked if their Summer berry Cooler drink was gluten free, I felt reassured after a member of staff called Shannon checked the allergens list and advised me of the ingredients.
