The Sandwich Tree — Restaurant in Sunderland

The sandwich tree has been a solid go-to for many whenever I’m in the area.

The quality of the food has always been 5 stars.

The service has always been great.

The prices have always been reasonable.

They have a great selection of food, drinks, deserts, and everything is great quality.

It may be a little bit of a wait at dinner time with all of the local business going there for their dinner however it is worth the wait.

Been here a few times when passing , had ok'ish food, kinda quickness hole filler kinda place. The last straw was today, asked for a slice of pie to be warmed up , was meant to be corned beef and potatoe. I dare say it was 85 percent potatoe and very little corned beef . But to top it off got charged over 3 quid for a slice of pie which was like eating warmish lumpy mash inside wet cardboard, 1 star food at 5 star prices . Will not...

Ordered a bacon ,sausage ,cheese barm with brown sauce. The barm was big, tasty the sausages and the bacon was frazzled and I mean crispy as f**k don't know how long they'd been there.
