Greggs — Restaurant in Sunderland

As far as ratings for Greggs go on Google maps, this is as good as your going to get. Due to the location, in amongst a series of call centers with multiple different companies always releasing their staff at different times throughout the day, this Greggs is constantly on point. Everything is hot, all of the time. The baguettes are always chocked full of fresh meat and veg, and you get them grilled immediately, heck I'm going to go out on a limb and say it, this Greggs is as good as a Greggs can get, haha. Mixed feelings about this place as I only have to go to this place because there is nothing else decent around my workplace. Most of the food is always cold and it's not the same as it used to be decades ago I guess. For example throughout the 12 months I've only had a vegan roll warm twice and they still have no vegan steak bake. So I do not know why that has not been addressed.

Got a sausage & bacon breakfast sandwich & hot chocolate. Sandwich bread wasn't nice, bacon cremated and as usual with greggs the filling thrown in so that your sausages fall out any chance they get. Hot chocolate turned out to be just hot water, don't know if the machine was broke or the staff forgot to put in the other half of the sachet.
