Ming Garden — Restaurant in Sunderland

If I could leave 0 stars I would. We've order from here since moving to the area in 2021. This order tonight was disgraceful. Firstly 90 mins late so called to chase, and was told it was dispatched. Then its nearly another 25 mins before it actually arrived. I expected it to be stone cold but was actually warm still so obviously hadn't been sent when stated. The order was incorrect (wrong sauce sent with the box) and the food seems to have been fried over and over. Even the 'free' spring rolls and chicken wings are inedible. Yes we ordered a munch box so expect fried beige food, but this was crisped through, and majority of the box was chips. Beef and garlic was overly spiced so could barely taste it. Disappointed and a repeat customer lost here. Not a cheap meal, but what a waste of...

Ordered tonight and expected the takeaway to be busy with it being Xmas eve, of course it was and after waiting a couple of hours and unable to get through to the phone line we decided to drive down to the takeaway shop to collect the order (hoping it hadn’t already left the shop). Luckily it didn’t and I was advised by the staff to request a refund for delivery charge which I did when I got home. The shop have refunded me half the price of my food which I was not expecting! The food was amazing and the quality of the food didn’t falter despite how busy they were tonight. Will happily order from here again. Merry Christmas to...

Never again!! Ordered a chicken and beef szechuan, fried rice, chips and a pancake roll. When the meal came there was no chicken. I can't eat beef so I phoned the restaurant. They wouldn't have any of it. They said they would only refund for the szechuan but as far as I'm concerned, the whole meal was ruined. What am I supposed to eat, chips and rice on their own. Disgusting food and service....
