The only thing they could improve is putting the menu online and (possibly) accepting online orders. Otherwise excellent. I have used both their eat in and takeaway services, and have found no problem with either. The ambience in the restaurant is great - quiet and modern, not like the traditional flock wallpaper and pictures of the Taj Mahal places of years past. Service is very friendly, not too overbearing while still observant and the food is the best I have tasted (I’m 43 and have moved around a fair bit, so that is saying something!) Food delivery very late, food cold. Chicken Shaslik pieces not fully cooked through and pink, popadums stale and flexible, nan bread limp and doughy. Really put off by whole experience, although replacement food offered, really put off any food by this time - if the food had been good after reheating all would have be ok, used to deliveries being late, but late and poor? Food returned to restaurant intact (repacked it all) and no prizes for guessing there was no refund, other than 60% credited to my newly opened Just Eat account, which due to the appalling food and service I will never use again. Honestly the most terrible Indian meal I have ever had and a total rip off. The restaurant is filthy and not inviting, I should of left straight away. Poppadoms were stale and the sauces disgusting. Mixed starter the chicken with grisly and microwaved, worse chicken I have ever had. Main course chicken shaslik, tiny chewy chicken pieces and gone off vegetables.
