McDonald's — Restaurant in Tandridge

Very very slow. I very rarely write a bad review unless I have just cause to do so. This McDonald's is consistently very slow, like my photos show they have many order numbers up 'preparing' also many apparently ready for collection but there was nothing on the counter and no staff at the counter either so it was just a bunch of numbers moved to the collect section for no reason and more orders piling up. We go here on the way to visit a family member, so stop here for breakfast or lunch on the way. We've been there before when there have been flies circling around all over certain areas. When we tell a member of staff theyre usually reasonably quick to clean the area but it shouldn't have got to that state in the first place, it takes longer than 5 minutes to get a bunch of flies around an area. We've also been many times when they've not had the milkshake machine working, or the mcflurrys are ALL out of stock so guess that machine wasn't working either. We went once when they'd run out of mcmuffins, so we asked for bagels and theyd run out of those too, that day they didnt have milkshakes either!! All very disappointing when you look forward to a meal and you get nothing at the end of it. It's not happened once either this happens all the time. Every time theres something missing. And every time its very slow service. Staff don't even look like they're trying to get the orders done quickly when theres a rush either. I'm sure they'll continue to get custom because it's a motorway service station but if this was run like this in a town it'd be out of business very quickly, even if it is...

Average Stop – Does the Job, But Nothing Special

Stopped at the McDonald’s inside the Roadchef service station for a quick bite while on a long drive. It was… fine. Nothing particularly wrong, but nothing memorable either.

The food was standard McDonald’s fare — hot enough, served in decent time, and exactly what you’d expect. The portion sizes were as usual, and everything seemed freshly made, though nothing stood out in terms of quality.

The service was a bit hit or miss. Staff were polite, but looked a little stretched and not particularly engaged. The wait time wasn’t too bad, but the self-order machines were a bit confusing and not well-maintained — a couple out of order.

Seating was limited and not the cleanest. It’s a busy service station, so it’s understandable, but still could use more attention between rushes.

Overall, if you’re hungry and want something familiar, it’ll do. Just don’t expect much more than a...

Regularly forced to stop here it seems to have no effective management always long wait to get served even when not busy the McDonald's at Cobham services is 100 times busier but never wait as long. On one occasion staff were too busy arguing about shifts to serve customers many including myself brought a coke in the shop next door rather than wait very poor show McDonald's update 6.6.18 just had a revamp and thought i would try it again sad to report service slow and rubbish im never stopping here again Cobham services is much better run. Poor show mcdonalds also I am unsure if I also ended up with food poisoning. Update stopped here again Sunday evening 6/9/20 and brought 2 diet drinks. These were warm flat and didn't contain ice I suspect they had been out for hours waiting to be purchased absolute rubbish how is McDonald's quality control allowing this bad service to continue...
