Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Teignbridge

tl:dr - Nice shop, shame about the coffee. Stopped in on a quiet morning to pick up some take-away coffees. The place was quiet, only one person in the place and a couple of drive-thru orders. The staff were nice but seemed rushed, for whatever reason, but the venue was very clean and tidy, hence not giving a lower star rating. Unfortunately the coffee wasn't good at all. My flat white was made with all of the skill of a McDonalds coffee machine - the milk was not textured well and just chucked together. Not ideal when you pay 40p more for the privelidge of getting a coffee here instead of another branch. If this is the consistant way that coffee is made here, then skip it all together, or if you're desperate, get a coffee from...

Today we used the drive thru and while we were waiting for our drinks we turned our engine off. Unfortunately when we were ready to go the car couldn’t detect the key and we were stuck by the window unable to move! The drive thru had to be closed and vehicles had to reverse back out. The staff were amazing. So calm and friendly about it. Just what you need in a situation that you can’t do anything about. Luckily it suddenly started working and we were able to move out of the way.
