The place was amazing just next to the motorway but tucked in up a road and the food was lovely but I ordered a bap but was expecting butter in but it tasted amazing The service was really friendly and full of nice staff who gave an amazing variety of vegan options and they cook vegan food separately and sometimes in different oil and different toasters The atmosphere when we arrived at first was busy packed full of people and a long queue but went quickly The wait took a little while but we got there in the end but the food was delicious 🥪 Gentleman toilet bathroom a few taps are broken but might be fixed eventually Completely wheelchair accessible and the staff will come and help you if you have any difficulty This place is lovely and I would recommend coming here really friendly people and nice food 👍

Brilliant find on the main road down to Plymouth from Exeter. Just off the beaten track and an absolute gem. The place is super clean (including the toilets) and the staff are the very definition of friendly and helpful. The place was full of families and groups meeting up, lots of tables and proper chairs. Comfortable, warm, and inviting on a grey day. Good outdoor seating and it was lovely to see a selection of the papers available. Food portions were amazing, I over ordered (as per usual). Food came piping hot and was served very quickly. Special note for the fried bread, it was tasty without being drowned in fat - that's a real skill. Top notch nosh.

My wife and I stopped here for breakfast and a much needed break after being stuck on the A303 for an hour and a half due to a serious accident just before the Devon border. The place was spotlessly clean from the toilets to the seating area. We were met with a warm welcome from the lady taking our order, she asked how we were and how our journey was going. We ordered 2 breakfasts and 2 teas, the breakfast was cooked to order and delivered to our table with a smile. The food was perfectly cooked and plentiful. We would highly recommend Haldon Forest diner as a great place to stop for a meal. We look forward to coming back again as we regularly travel along this route...
