De Flame Peri Peri — Restaurant in Thanet

Hi we did 17 mile journey to this takeaway for halal food I sent my sons inside to order and we checked the online prices on their website and we also got there and checked their leaflet prices to compare to the online prices the prices were the same. I sent my son inside to place the order and he overcharged him in the first order and also he charged him again saying that he missed out a price on something. Luckily I got a bank notification on my phone and noticed the price in first the first transaction was already overpriced and then I saw another notification where I was charged again which made me suspicious. So I went inside myself and I have clarified the prices with him again and asked the staff on the till and first he made excuses and then I showed him their price and what he charged me from my bank account and also his own given receipt which he kept and didn’t hand it over to my son and was an obvious price difference and then he started to make excuses about the new staff and we ordered fresh food and he gave us pre-packed naan. I will personally really disappointed because he scammed my 16 year old son by overpricing him and also not admitting in the first place his fault and giving us pre-packed food which I can purchase from the supermarket at a 1/4 of the price of what he charged. I will personally recommend to pre-check their prices again after ordering. Also their food...

There naan is not a proper naan as you can see for the picture it's more like a flat bread..... Also from the picture that's the size of all the salad you get for a combination kebab which is £14.00.. half a can of coke....

Well it's looks nothing like what I got....

Just a shambles, a joke.... We in 2023 now we can name a shame and I hope more do too.....

Why should we be paying for this name and shame...

Great takeaway delicious lamb and chicken shish kebab. Salad was done fresh which was nice. The freshly made and baked naan was amazing (chilli and garlic). Previously the a lamb shish wasn't as good. Feedback to owner and he changed the cut of lamb. It is flame grilled in big chunks which means you get the chargrilled effect which is delicious. Home made chilli sauce and good garlic sauce. A taste sensation. Brilliant service from lovely...
