My husband and I have dined at the Peninsula many times over 20 years and can honestly say we have never been disappointed. It is the only restaurant in Thanet where you can have a leisurely drink in the bar where they take your order before your shown to your table,which have linen tablecloths and decorative linen napkins. The food is home cooked and the best authentic Chinese food your find. We have the Cantonese for two set three course menu which includes filter coffee and I enjoy the coconut icecream but there are others to choose from. With the relaxing intimate atmosphere where the tables are well laid out. Grace is first class with the running of the restaurant like clockwork but also makes you feel welcome like you have been invited into her home.
