Tried a new place for us and went for a roast lamb, with all the trimmings including an extra dish of homemade cauliflower cheese. Didn't take pictures as was too busy eating it. Such an amazing village pub. Spacious and clean. Helpful and friendly staff, nothing to much trouble. The food tasted amazing and there was plenty of it. The price was great for what we got. It's not worth doing it yourself for the price. We were thoroughly impressed and look forward to booking up again for a try of more of the delicious menu. The pub is just perfect for us and our needs and has beautiful surroundings and history in the Minster village. Higrhly recommended.

Had to wait longer for my cauliflower cheese which I'd ordered as a side for my roast - turns out it hadn't been ticketed. That was sorted out quickly though once we got a member of staff's attention - they were very busy, I think they had a function on. Although I was nearly finished with my main course when the cauli cheese did come out, I didn't mind as I ate it on its own and it was steaming hot. The food was fantastic, all served hot and with plenty of choice. I had roast lamb and it was one of the nicest roasts I've had in a while. I had the banoffee pie for pudding and it was huge! Absolutely delicious.

Great gem of a pub with new management - Tue 6th Aug 2019 i was staying in Minster on business and thought i'd try a pub in the village...The Bell Inn was welcoming and friendly atmosphere by the owner and staff. Good selection of beers and lovely beer garden! The food was delicious, great price for the meal and generous portions. Will definitely stop by for a pint and some food when I visit Sandwich again.

First visit here. Recommended by a friend. Had booked a table for lunch and arrived on time. First course lovely. The food is good and hot. Asked for the desert board, which was placed on a chair, at our table. No one came back to ask if we wanted to order anything, and we tried to attract the attention of a staff member. They asked the table next to us if they wanted to order deserts. We had asked to see the desertboard before them!!. Still, no one came to us. Eventually, we gave up and went up to the bar to pay our bill. (By this time, we were past the idea of desert or coffee) The bar chap looked at us and struck up a conversation with the Barmaid. Eventually, ask what we wanted. We said we would like to pay our bill! Took the money, including a tip! No, thank you goodbye or any acknowledgement Not impressed will not be...

Went here to see a band playing. (Vertigo Park , excellent band ) Parking is a little limited in the carpark. But there is another carpark next the pub one & on street parking too. The pub itself is decorated like a village pub, not some up market wine bar/bistro etc. They have a great selection of drinks, catering for pretty much all tastes. Prices were pretty standard for the area. The staff were smartly dressed, polite, attentive & efficient in their work. It was nice and clean, no sticky carpets in this pub!! The toilets were spotless!! Even at 11pm they were still clean, didn't smell !! I can't comment on the food as I didn't eat there, but having spoken to a couple of the regulars, they all said the food was excellent 5 good value for money. Definitely...

I ate at your restaurant on Sunday. The food was good.I would like to suggest a few things that would have made the experience better. We were in the marquee, it is not very comfortable, especially as many of the customers are elderly, A few cushions would have been appreciated .The food came before the cutlery, leaving some in the party ,their food getting cold. Some thought could have been given to the surroundings, perhaps some flowers on the tables ,plants inside to soften the feel of the rather stark surroundings .If you are wanting the elderly to visit it may be a few minutes to consider these few points to make the experience of visiting your establishments a more...
