Had Sunday lunch with my husband at £12 ph. On that occasion there was a choice of two roasts: beef or shoulder of pork, accompanied with the expected vegetables. You are given two options with the roast beef..... Pink or well done. We opted for the pink and had no regrets. It was beautifully tender and tasted delicious! The Yorkshire pud was large and crispy, as were the 5 huge roast potatoes! The cauliflower cheese (which was lovely) and gravy arrived separately on a tray, which was a nice touch. My only niggle was the gravy was extremely 'thin', but that's a personal preference. Usually my husband finishes what I'm unable to eat. Read moreRevisited the SE Coast this last week and just had to revisit The New Inn - and so pleased we did. We only got chance to eat there once last year because of ‘Eat Out To Help Out’ but managed to go there twice this time. The food and service was first class, with everything ordered just cooked to perfection. Whoever owns/runs/manages this place - your staff are some of the most welcoming, hard working, pleasant we’ve met. Nothing was too much bother - even my HP sauce on Jamie’s Scotch Egg 😂.
