The Bouncing Bomb Cafe — Restaurant in Thanet

Well, well, well, what a magnificent surprise we have at Minnis Bay. I'll be perfectly honest with you, when the cafe was going to open there, the locals were hearing mutterings, shall we say, about the owners, so I for one stayed away, but a couple of weeks ago, I decided to give them a try for the first time, as I needed something to eat quickly. I was a bit on guard at first, so sat down quietly, then I was given such a professional service by one of the waitresses, the owners came over to our table and they are absolutely lovely, so helpful, so attentive and friendly, I was surprised, after hearing the mutterings from various people in the area, I was really angry, I listened, I could have been going there from day one. It pays never to listen to other people, but to judge for yourself. Thank you Bouncing Bomb for choosing Minnis Bay & I'm very sorry for listening to the rumours in stead of trying you myself. I will be a regular customer from now on....

Amazing cafe, staff are absolutely wonderful and cheery! Elz the man that owns the cafe is a proper laugh!! The food is lovely, I’ve been in a few times now and the two waitresses are very kind, lovely and helpful. It’s a clean local cafe. Lisa the cook is very friendly and lovely. Atmosphere is amazing, everyone talks to eachother and there’s 80’s music! Service was astounding like usual. And it’s a dog friendly cafe so bring all your pups!! Would urge anyone to come here with family...

Arrived to a very warm and friendly welcome, great customer service nothing too much trouble. Lovely warm clean cafe very nicely decorated. Very comfortable atmosphere not rushed will return. Wonderful menu and food made with quality products and they cater to your requirements. The owners are Elwyn and Lisa so friendly a wonderful cafe and also the 2 waitresses lovely girls.
