A dollop of confusion hit the senses as I entered, what I thought was, the Bricklayers Arms. I spoke to the staff on entering. “Excuse me, is this The Bricklayers Arms? I’m sure I saw a sign for The Spice Hut on a board outside!?” It was all made clear; the “restaurant”, the corner of the pub that has a few tables with cutlery placed on them is Spice Hut. From the start of the bar onwards is the pub. Forget what you saw on the online British food inspired menu. This is no longer served here. There are however a large selection of British Indian foods.
