Had my wife's 50th birthday in this great traditional English pub last night and also mine in June. Such a great night on both occasions and the staff are brilliant behind the bar, very quick service.Garth and Lisa who run the place, put balloons and banners up and made both nights very special. Our football club, Roselands FC has made the George our new 'home' pub after games on Saturdays. The boys love the pub, it's atmosphere, the wide selection of beers, excellent service and emphasis on sports and music. Most Saturdays end with a couple of games of killer on one of the two pool tables! The food really is excellent, and the boys are usually ordering one o the burgers on offer each week.
