The staff were friendly and polite. Parking in the street opposite was free and easy. I ordered large Cod, regular chips and curry sauce. The fish was battered and cooked to order. Came to £9:40. When I arrived home it was still very hot. The chips were soft (I had asked for salt and vinegar and this was only on the chips and everything was wrapped separately in chip soft paper rather than a cardboard box) and like the fish, the oil tasted fresh. Read moreDecided to try Marino’s last night, and we were not disappointed. The best fish & chips we’ve had in TW, since moving here in September. To quote my parents “this is the best we’ve had for a long long time”; coming from a family who live on the North East coast. The fish was super fresh, meaty and as white as it comes, with almost perfect chips. Portions are great too. Reasonably priced and great staff so will be coming back for sure....
