Well where to start, pity that we cannot give less than 1star, our experience at this pub was ABSOLUTELY APPALLING, we would never step inside this pub again. We had booked a table for an evening meal on Sunday, upon arriving we were informed by the land lady that there only 2 roast dinners left, although we did not want a roast, that should have raised alarm bells as these were probably left over meals from lunch time already plated and ready to be rewarmed. We ordered 4 starters, after waiting 30mins, we asked at the bar where they were, the young girl behind the bar replied, "oh you are ready for your starters", 3 arrived luke warm, the 4th arrived with a main meal, when it was pointed out that this was a starter, she replied "I'll take the meal back and keep it warm". We should really have left at this point, however, after a further 30mins we asked the same young girl where our meals were, again with the reply "oh you are ready for your meals". When they arrived we were absolutly disgusted with the presentation, again they were all luke warm, but were all almost completely dried up, all of the meals had been plated for some considerable time and either left under hot lamps or in an oven, all of the meals were completely inedible. We approached the same young girl again, we expressed our disappoint and asked to speak to the landlady, we were informed that she had gone out but would be back later. It would appear that this young girl was left to run the pub and kitchen, it was not her fault that we vented our frustrations and disappointments on her, however she did apologise and removed all food from the bill, as we had not eaten the inedible meals. As there was no chef on duty, we've assumed that our meals were prepared and plated up probably by the landlady, and left somewhere to keep warm, and that as the landlady had left the pub with instructions for the young girl to tend to us and to serve us, but as she was busy she had over looked us. All in all an extremely poor advertisment for this pub. We had planned to stay for the evening have a few drinks and listen to the band, but not after this disaster. Including us, there were another couple eating, which made 6 in total, not exactly busy to prepare and cook 6...

This is not a wheelchair accessible pub but if you have some level of mobility you will be able to use it. This is a local pub with locals in it. You can get through the level access doors and there you will have a friendly, local double sided pub with some level of dog friendlness. There is quiet music playing. The tables shroud the bar so in its easy to order from almost anywhere. There are also some offshoot booths for more privacy but these won't be Wheelchair accessible.

There is no wheelchair accessible toilet here. I used the ladies toilet with a Q200R powerchair and my chair is a wider size than the market type. However, my frame got through the first door to the ladies even with a gentleman sitting on the corner. It then took some skills to get round the corner (with smaller door) to the actual ladies loo. Once inside you will have to dismount from outside using the helping bars if you're not mobile. So you will have to leave your chair outside the internal loo entrance. It's pretty safe because they would have to get through three doors before getting outside the pub! Better still, take a friend and they can also enjoy it!

A person with a walker or with some level of ambulance will be able to use this pub easily.

My steak was relatively well cooked, it was medium rather than medium rare, but it was ok. Other than that I was not impressed at all. Order food at the bar, and they just don't care at all. I ordered the nachos, paid extra for added jalapenos.. waste of money, there were 12 jalapenos , this ought to be the standard amount? Not worth a surcharge. And I asked for some more salsa for my nachos because I was given about 3 little dots, and was given a tiny little ketchup cup and told that was all I was allowed. Unimpressed. The steak and a drink deal for about £14 was a good deal price wise. What can you expect for that money? Polite and friendly staff? That doesn't cost anything? But Nachos for £9, surely it wouldn't hurt to give some toppings? Service was very poor. Condiment tray just dumped on the table, no check back at all, food appeared to be an inconvenience to the bar staff who would rather not make the extra steps away from the taps at the bar. Really...

The Seacourt was our choice for cocktails to belatedly celebrate big birthdays. Although yesterday's blizzard meant that my friend & i looked like snowmen as we arrived, the friendly welcome was a great start. The pub is a little gem, bright, clean, warm & cosy. We planned on a having a couple of drinks but stayed for the evening & it was buzzing with a wide range of local families & visitors. A lovely evening & a big thanks to the bar staff who handled our cocktail demands perfectly - and to Norman! Another visit a while later, with friends to mark a sadder occasion. Quiet evening in the middle of the week and the Seacourt was warm & welcoming. The seating nooks at each side are perfect for a small gathering away from the bustling main room. Great service at the bar and we all felt happy to have gone there.
