Costa Coffee Drive-Thru — Restaurant in Vale of White Horse

I love Costa and have visited a fair few. This one was clean and looked nice. Visited yesterday at about 4.30pm. The lady serving was the slowest and easily confused server I've come across. Not sure if she was new or drunk. I had to continuily remind her of my order as she was putting it through the till and while still at the till show her my receipt for a cake which she thought she had given me. I'd understand if the place we busy but I was the only customer at the till....

The guy making the drinks forgot to give me.decaff and I couldn't be bothered to correct him after a memorable experience being served so I left it. Wish I had now as he also forgot to add the caramel but I was already in the A34.

It was nice atmosphere. We ate in. Quite busy. But very young staff made lots of errors with our order. Which took extended time to put right. Teacup and teapot weren't the cleanest as had off putting stains on. None of staff looked or seemed at all happy to be there. Not one smile. But in fairness, we all have off days. So maybe all of young team that day ,were having bad days. Feasible in my estimations. Accessibility was no issue. As I'm disabled I always take note of this . My food was fine as was sandwich from chiller. Tea was only lukewarm, sadly. I do love nice hot brew. Overall I'd go there again. If only in everlasting hope of finding a happier team. I have every faith it'll...

I broke down on the A420 and the AA limped my car to this Costa. I had my 85yr old mum and 9wk old puppy with me and we'd had a fright breaking down on such a fast and busy road. It took several hours for the car to be fixed and although I don't believe dogs are usually allowed in Costas, the manager made an exception to help me keep my brand new puppy warm and alive in near freezing conditions since we were traveling a long way home to north east England. The staff were so very kind and helpful and mum and I enjoyed the coffees and sandwiches that we bought. Thank you lovely people! I don't know what we would have done...
