My Sister lives close by and when I visit her we usually have a few drinks. This time round we had a bite to eat. Good wholesome food with nice staff and friendly locals. Recommended. Now called the "New Eagle"

A lovely little and old traditional village pub that does great Sunday Lunch at a great value too. If you wish a real English pub this is one of them. Full of locals that are friendly.

just popped in for a good cup of coffee with a friend and really surprised to know that they served (Nescafe Sachet) cappuccino 😒 for £4 for a cup. Totally not worth spending money.

A friend and I just popped in for midmorning coffee and toast while we were out for a walk. We learned that the new owners, who took over about 6 months ago, were busy making improvements. We were very impressed with the friendly and efficient service. We plan to go back soon to try some of the other tempting food...

What a pub!! Don't really want to give a good review because it'll get really busy and I won't be able to book a table for the best carvery in Oxfordshire, best beer in a 10 mile radius and the best landlord and landlady that anyone could wish for. Don't come...

Never got to try the food or drink as an aggressive dog totally not controlled attacked our spaniel and bit him before we even got through the door. Advertised as dog friendly. We love dogs but always keep ours under control. Clearly doesn’t apply...
