The Tandem Kennington, 27th of March.
We arrived at the Tandem and went into the bar. There were only two other tables in use. We went up to the bar to order drinks. I asked for a pint of Abbott. The lady serving said it wasn’t available. When I asked if it was normal. I was told no, it’s because the manager had gone on holiday for two weeks and no one else knew how to connect the pump up!
We then ordered two lots of fish and chips, but no fish and chips were available!
I ordered gammon. The chips had been warmed up once before and they were shrivelled up. It would’ve been easier if it had been given a steak knife because it wasn’t the tenderest of gammon. Would we go again?
Over the years we have enjoyed many good meals at the Tandem. What a shame its declined.

I’m really dissatisfied and disappointed. I won’t be booking it here again. Think I would rather spend more money on taking them elsewhere. Or to where I have been told it’s brilliant. I’d rather drive that extra for my kids to have a better breakfast with Santa next time!! No impressed. Not a great start to Christmas. I was expecting a bit more or to...

My husband had pigs in blankets to start, good portion about 8. Then steak with shrimps, tough as old boots, cheesecake for pudding good.
The others had tortillas which were homemade and looked amazing as were the burgers.
Shame as this was a very hit and miss meal, price was good but quality...
