Kismat Tandoori — Restaurant in Wakefield

We ordered for the first time a few days ago after hearing really good things from locals (we’re new to the area), we asked for chips cooked well done and they came undercooked and soggy, donner meat was stone cold, the pizzas cheese was all on one side as if it had been flung around the drivers car, one of the puddings was meant to be a sponge and they sent jam roly poly (which we don’t like) and they didn’t even send the other cake! I rang up to complain about the missing dessert, wrong dessert and horrible food and a ‘manager’ apologised and said they had run out of everything, he seemed so nice and told me that they were just closing up so they couldn’t help now but to ring back next time and they would credit our account, so I didn’t claim a refund from Just Eat for the terrible food and missing dessert. My fiancé rang back tonight so we could give them another try. Explained the situation and was shouted at on the phone and made out to be a liar! They said the pizza was ‘perfect’ just look at the photo! Just tried to claim a refund through Just Eat and now it’s too late to get our money back. Definitely a scam to avoid refunds! So I love the food from here, I usually order on Just eat and I’ve been in person a few times. Today I ordered over the phone, I asked for a half pound cheeseburger with mayo and salad, quarter pound cheeseburger with salad and bbq; then a Donner kebab wrap with salad and chilli on it. After saying the first cheeseburger the guy then started talking to someone else while I was on the phone, came back couldn’t remember my order asked for my address and didn’t know understand the last part of my address which is “close”. So I repeated my order to the guy on the phone, he then got the half pounder and quarter pounder mixed up. When I corrected him he had a full on go at me down the phone like a child would. He said that I got the order wrong and that it wasn’t his fault, he was shouting this down the phone at me. No apology or anything either.

If it wasn’t for the fact I’ve barely eaten all day and my boyfriend has just come back from three peaks, I would’ve cancelled the order and go somewhere else.

Don’t think I’m ordering from here ever again which is a shame as it was my fave takeaway but if staff are going to speak to...
