Poor service, food is good but we went in tonight to be told by the young girl server to sit at the bar and she would check if there’s seating upstairs. 15 minutes later still sat at the bar and see her chatting to one of the other staff, had clearly forgotten about us. Took the gentleman at the bar to remind her, came back over to say I don’t know when a table will be available, no apology for forgetting about us.

Won’t go back in again, takes 5 seconds to check if there’s a table.

———-

To the owner who has since left a response, Which I cannot respond to directly and are therefore editing my original message.. that response is embarrassing, and making things up is even more embarrassing.

Firstly, Where does it say anywhere that booking a reservation is a prerequisite. And where in my review is me mentioning the lack of tables being available a problem, it’s the service or lack of, not the fact that there’s no tables.

Also, accusing me of “intimidating” anyone is embarrassing and simply not true. Your waitress did not come back.. I had to chase her and there was no “intimidation” we simply said it’s poor to be forgotten about and left, you shouldn’t fabricate a story.

As a the owner I would expect better, especially since you weren’t there, and if your CCTV has sound you’d know that I was polite, especially considering the garbage service and been kept waiting for 15 minutes and clearly being forgotten about, with your staff more interested in chatting than looking after customers in a busy restaurant.

No wonder your staff have no customer service..when the owner has 0 class with that response.

Embarrassing!

Also, how would you know who I was from this review..probably viewing the wrong footage as I didn’t reference a time of attendance in my response. Perhaps focus on your service rather than...

I have only dined here once for the lunch tapas offer, so my review is limited and my experience was nice but nothing special which is why currently I've scored everything a 3. I have heard mixed reviews about this place but would be willing to dine from there again.

The restaurant has lot of parking outside and is a large, grandly-decorated venue to enjoy some nice Thai food, as well as tasty quality drinks. It looked a great place for parties/groups to dine in and they have a pretty terrace for when it’s warmer, to enjoy dining Al Fresco.

When I arrived just after opening time on a Saturday I was the first in the building! Unfortunately it didn’t get much busier on our visit, with other another party of about 6 people attending lunch time. Even though it wasn’t busy, service was a tad slow at times, but apart from that we couldn’t fault our visit.

We all opted for the Thai Tapas Weekend Lunch offering; 3 mini Thai dishes and a side for £9.95. This is a real bargain as we were all satisfying full – great value for money.

I went with;

Chicken Satay – yummy but I would have liked more peanut sauce without asking for extra as it was fairly dry Duck Spring Rolls – crispy and tasty Sweetcorn Cakes – a popular choice as we all went with these and they were delicious! Soft Noodles – my favourite and these were cooked with a little egg & spring onion and were so good, especially mixed with the sweet spicy dip the dish came with. I ate just about every last bit and washed it down with a virgin...

Upon arrival the car park was small and busy, we expected it to be very busy but when we went inside it was quiet. The decor was dark and unpleasant. The table settings were nice and the chair was comfortable but on the booth I don’t believe the cushions were necessary.

The drinks we ordered came very quickly and the homemade lemonade was delicious (£4.50). This review is of Banquet B- Our starter came and was to a very high standard, presentation was wonderful and at first sight my expectations were high. We didn’t need to wait long between starter and main courses which I do like when I visit a restaurant, the waiter explained everything as it was placed on the table. So, we ate and found that the beef was a little chewy, as we had finished our mains and the waiter came to clear the table we explained our problem and the response we got shocked us, “that’s a shame” this was the response we got.

Just a warning, the prices on the menus online are different to the prices at the restaurant. Not by much only £3 but when we mentioned this to staff they didn’t seem aware.

The experience from the waiter, she was very quiet and sometimes hard to hear. When we came to the end of our of our meal we did ask for the bill to be split and as requested the bill was spilt and we was offered 2 receipts.

Overall, the presentation was good. Food was average, drinks were nice but pricey. We did enjoy our time there but unfortunately we don’t think we would...

It's ok but a bit on the pricey side especially if you like a few drinks with your meal. The lemongrass stalks in the Tom Kha soup were very hard & woody so they're obviously not fresh. We called in just before 9pm on a Thursday & were told that they close at 9.30 ! So we quickly ordered 2 drinks, 2 starters & 2 main courses, 2 rices & a side dish & everything was brought out to us all at the same time. We just managed to stuff ourselves quickly before they closed. ( £56 for rushed meal ) oh, and it's £2 extra if you want 5 prawns in your soup instead of chicken. They also do a Sunday buffet between 12 & 3 so that may be the best option if you want a wider selection of choice & got a good appetite.

A very enjoyable evening meal. The fish cakes are very traditional, unfortunately that means they are a bit like eating rubber sponge. But that's just the style of cooking so cannot mark them down for that. I ordered the Pak Prik thinking it would include noodles but it was just stir fried veg with a curry sauce. The Salmon was a good slab of fish so no complaints there! Service was lovely, even if the waitress was a little new and didn't know the menu very well. She was super attentive and wanted to do the right thing al the time. Overall very nice, will be returning to get the banquet I think in the future
