Well what can I say, I’ve stayed in many hotels over the years through work and can say this was hands down the worse one. The rooms definitely not to a clean standard, the photos speak for them selfs. Customers service is none existence, I truly believe that the staff do not know how to deal with customers who raise complainants. While staying there, seen a number of guest who had raised issues and how the staff and manger handle it in front of other guest was appalling. The wait time for the food is ridiculous, seeing staff talking while the food is just sat under the heat lamps drying out. A number of times when we tried to order had been told we don’t have this or that. Having paying guest staying at a hotel and being told you can’t have certain items on the menu is just beyond a joke. The dining area carpet would have food from the previous nights still on the floor indicating that the floor is not cleaned everyday as it should be in any dining area (this would explain the rodent repellent boxes in the dining area). The staff seemed to have an issue with one of my colleague, who had been accused of making a staff member feel uncomfortable. This issue was not highlighted to use until we noticed the hotel staff starting to behave very childishly. When it came to my attention that there was an issue I asked to speak to a manager, over and hour had passed and the manger had not showed up, even though I was only 20 feet from where she was. I had to approach the manager myself and when she explained to me what the issue was and that one of her staff members had said my colleague had said something about another member of staff. I spoke to my colleague the next morning about this, and I believe that the staff member actually got the wrong end of the stick and misinterpreted what was said. The sad part about the whole thing was that the manager had not approached my colleague to ask if this was true, but behaved in a way no establishment should have done. I stayed at this hotel for 15 nights, after 4 nights my company had offered to move us but I was hoping things would improve throughout the days, but sadly this didn’t happen. I’m just glad that we no longer have to go back to this hotel and the company has also advised us that they will no longer be booking this hotel in the near future.

Short guy with fake tan and teeth whitening. He downgraded my room because I arrived late. He also lied. When it came to dinner, he initially said my meal would take 20mins and then lied saying he said it would take up to 40mins. I was sat there waiting for an hour. I ended up cancelling my evening meal and going down to Abdul’s (3mins drive, affordable and quality food). I would never stay at this place better off sleeping in your car or van. Rest of the staff seem alright though. Radiators not working in hotel room, there is only one socket in room so you can’t charge your phone bedside and are only restricted to two outlets at a time. Fan is broken. Wall plugs in bathroom are falling off the wall. Left a bad impression of Ramada, I can’t see myself staying at any of their hotels ever again. Definitely the worst hotel I’ve been to in my life.

I was booked this hotel by my employer as somewhere to stay whilst I was working away. That being said, I was more than impressed with this hotel. The staff were friendly, polite, responsive, professional and very attentive. Any question that I had was answered immediately. The room was next to perfect, only reservation I would have would be the size of the bathroom, but that's it. The bed was comfy, extra pillows were provided. It was clean, tidy and well presented. The food at the Ramada was the absolute stand out for me. Absolutely incredible. I had the chicken wings for starters, sirloin steak for mains and the deep dish apple pie for dessert. All of which tasted incredible, was prepared and served really quick and looked amazing. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Before the last day, I would've scored this hotel higher. Unfortunately, during breakfast at check out, we encountered an issue with staff.

The rooms are what you would expect; not luxury, yet they do the job. The shower water pressure is good, although the bathroom was small. The mattress was too firm, but we managed to sleep. And the breakfast buffet covered the basics + gave you enough variety to mix it up each day.

After checkout, whilst we were eating breakfast, staff started hoovering the area where we were sitting. We didn't mind this. It was more that we weren't prewarned or asked to move before she began. The day before, the staff waited for us to finish & insisted we stayed until we did. Anyway, moments later, the staff tried to hoover under us whilst we were still eating. She didn't even say 'excuse me'; she just shoved the hoover in. Finally, she asked us to move. But her tone and attitude wasn't polite. I challenged her at this point, stating she could've asked us to move before hoovering. She countered this, which got me so wound up that I had to leave crying. It took me ages to calm down.

My partner complained to reception - who could hear & see me cry - yet he didn't get an apology. They didn't even offer to speak to staff to ask them to be more courteous in the future. Manners and empathy cost nothing. And should be the most basic skills for staff that work with customers.

Our trip was short notice to visit a dying relative. The last thing we needed was stress and upset from rude staff. We won't return & cannot...

Firstly, I had specifically requested an accessible room due to my mother's physical and mobility challenges. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we found that the room did not meet the necessary accessibility standards, making it difficult for my mother to navigate and utilize the facilities comfortably. This oversight significantly impacted her overall experience.

Furthermore, the room's temperature was uncomfortably cold throughout the night, despite our attempts to adjust the thermostat. This made our stay even more unpleasant and left us without a restful night's sleep. The duty person on charge did help us with extra duvets but it was extremely uncomfortable. How can you have rooms that are not even warm in winter?

Considering the winter weather, I believe it is essential for guests to experience a comfortable and warm environment in their rooms. Unfortunately, this was not the case during my stay, and it negatively impacted my overall impression of your hotel.

I understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, but I believe it is crucial for your establishment to ensure that rooms designated as accessible truly meet the needs of guests with disabilities.

The hotel has not offered any form of...
