Spice Garden — Restaurant in Wakefield

Always had delivery from this place, last time we collected our takeout order one of the employees suggested we try sitting In for a meal today we did try, myself and my partner were offered a table next to a group of 10+ loud rowdy people (my partner couldn’t get to her seat because people from this large group were blocking the only way to the seat not a care for other customers whilst they acted like idiots) I understand a public setting can always be loud but the table we were seated at was within literally a foot of this group, Within seconds of having arrived some blonde haired woman began shouting loudly both words and just generally making noise like a drunken idiot my initial thought was god I hope we’re not near them unfortunately we would have basically been on this groups lap, me and my partner left (under the guise of needing the cash machine) before the menus even got to the table because this would have been an all round unpleasant experience I’m not paying for a meal to not be able to even hear my partner...

I was given 7:20pm as my collection time so I turned up at 7:15pm.

I wasn't handed my order until 8:25pm. The manager spent the whole time telling all the people waiting that their orders were almost ready, so it meant I'd left my partner and our 8 month old daughter outside in the cold for an hour.

The manager just accepts as many just eat orders as he can and then makes customers wait. Every single person that came in to collect was made to wait around 45 minutes to an hour.

I'd left the car running to keep the heating on for my partner and daughter, so my car was sat running for over an hour. If the owner hadn't kept telling me it was almost ready I'd have left much sooner than I did. I'd heard good things about this place so feel so disappointed.

I went there last night and asked for Chicken tika.. It was disgusting the chicken... If you can call it Chicken was small and I mean tiny pieces of something the tika sauce was bland tasteless and didn't look or taste like a tika should. The rice I had to break it with my fork as all stuck together. The onion bajahis we full of oil when went to eat them. I could go on but what's the point. They stood around and wait for us to finish our meal.... Just to say none of us did.... Not even offered afters..mind you can't get ice cream wrong. Lol We have all been ill through the night and sick sure we all have food poisoning The quality of food has gone down hill we have all been here many times. Sorry to say we will not...
