Absolutely terrible customer service. Accommodation only has one bathroom for the entire floor of rooms and colleague explained it was like sleeping under a train; Upon ringing to cancel the rest of his week's stay there and requesting a refund for the nights he didn't stay, I received a slew of abuse from a member of staff, claiming what I said was "Bullsh**" and swearing left, right and centre at me. We held my parents 60th Wedding Anniversary at the Magnet in the function room. All I can say is it was everything and more than we were expecting from the atmosphere,decor, finger-food buffet, to the prices of the drinks. The Manager and her team were so accommodating and friendly. This all helped to make the party a big success and run so smoothly.The room hire and cost per head for the buffet is in my opinion very reasonable too. Gave this pub a good review last time but have to review again. The food this time was not good. No presentation at all. I had garlic breaded mushrooms which tasted good but presented terribly. I can cope with that.. my main was a sirloin steak which followed after over an hours wait!.
