Abercamlais Arms — Restaurant in Wales

Not welcoming to motorcyclists.....as for the response from this establishment, here's the facts rather than a childish fabricated comment, 6 of us arrived on 5 bikes, 4 were served drinks, then they had a change of heart and refused the last 2, we were told to drink up and leave minutes after as they needed car park space.... We didn't expect a table and we understand why the space was needed, we are decent people, I have have very rude messages sent to me Dawn the owner has with a total fabrication of events, we were disapointed at being asked to leave just after some of our party had been served drinks... Nothing whatsoever to do with booking or not booking? .......Dawn has trawled my FB account and sent me pictures that for some reason thinks will embarrass me, threatening to "make me famous".... Very rude and unprofessional....and quite frankly not normal healthy behaviour??... Seek professional help Dawn🙄...but fortunately there are other establishments..... P. First visit, took our grandchildren for Sunday lunch as a special treat. Staff was so helpful and friendly especially as we arrived 30 mins late. Nothing was to much trouble. The atmosphere was friendly, bright and cheerful. Despite the weather it was exceptionally clean. Decorated to very high standard. The carvery was excellent and very reasonably priced especially as there was a lot of choice of meat and veg. Our youngest granddaughter dislikes roast but this was not a issue as they prepared one dish she would eat. A great value and friendly pub in the heart of a lovely Welsh town. It has your standard selection of pub drinks with a few local brews to add something interesting.

The interior has clearly been renovated in the last few years. It gives the interior a very clean modern look, with the same charming traditional exterior.

The food is to a good pub standard, with the usual selection of meals. The desserts however are something else, and definietly worth trying, either by themselves, or as a hearty ending to a pleasant meal. The menu is also fairly price.
