Caffi Seren — Restaurant in Wales

I had the misfortune of visiting here Sunday 29th August 2021. Three of us arrived together and all ordered a large breakfast. This is a simple set menu which is set by the cafe not me. What could possibly go wrong? After a young girl walking out on approximately 10+ times with someones breakfast and nobody on every occasion claiming it, my friend asked where our meal and drinks were. Eventually we go our drinks. Next was a breakfast she tried to give to my friend and after 4 occasions some was right and some was missing.. Although were asked on two further occasions if we had ordered food....

My tea arrived, well, I say tea..... something which was intended to be a cup of tea. And finally two breakfast arrived. I would like to say large breakfast but as mine fell 30% short of the set menu, missing toast, black pudding, hash brown I can not say it was what I ordered. The three of us have said we will not waste our money there again and one friend has written a review elsewhere. If you want a lovely full breakfast served with the listed items on the menu, and a great cup of tea, do NOT visit caffi seren. If you want to be short changed, served food which was close resemblance to being cooked on a camping stove, then try caffi seren, but do NOT expect to get what you paid for, although I am sure they would have been very unhappy if I had asked for money back.

Really dissapointed. Reviews online looked amazing. But got in there at just gone 10am , ordered toast , poached eggs on toast and full English. With tea , coffee and milkshake. Service seemed good by 3 young girls .

Drinks arrived instantly but breakfast was very delayed.. waiting 1h for poached eggs..arrived with 3 hard eggs ... an extra 20mins for toast.. only 1 slice arrived.should have been 2. then the full english arrived ... no sausage ,no toast. . Then toast and sausage arrived separate and sausage not cooked.. 1hr30 mins in total

Was giving them the benefit of the doubt as there was an incident that happened just after we had ordered.

But there was no sorry,no offer of an extra drink while we were waiting. However take away orders were being made while we waited. .

We would have walked out if we were not so hungry as we had gotten up early to do the zip wire first.

Was dubious when first went in, cafes can usually be quite hit and miss but this little place was definitely a hit! Husband's full breakfast was delicious he said and as a non meat eater even I could see it was good. My daughters had cheesy chips and tuna (with an add on of cheese as we requested)toastie and both where both great too, traditionalchips!! No frozen rubbish😁😁 I chose a jacket potato which was good too. Really reccomend the cafe, great quality ingredients at really good prices!! Would visit again next time we are in the area. Thanks!!
