Not a particularly inviting exterior being very dark, and the opening hours weren't particularly good as they were closed at the beginning of the week, not sure if they were closed for a particular reason or whether this was normal? Absolute fair play to this local pub, welcomed 6 English in to watch the England Spain final, moved some of the locals so they could drop the big screen for us, no animosity, no awkwardness, friendly football banter, locals inside were very nice too, can always be a bit daunting walking in to a pub that’s not your own local but a seriously good bunch of people, both staff and customers. Well what can I say… such a great pub with a fab atmosphere. The locals were very friendly & welcoming. We were very well looked after by the owner/manager. They love dogs & were brilliant with our 5 month old working cocker spaniel. We will definitely revisit very soon....
