I have in my mind how 'bubble and squeak' should look and taste...cooked potato and cabbage mixed together and fried to crispen off then a fried egg added to top it off so i was quite excited to see this on the menu. I'm afraid I was less than happy when mine turned up, a splodge of mash potato, a few leaves and helping of baked beans with a poached egg aboard the top! I ate it, it was bland, I wont be going back sorry.. The pot of tea was good though, but be warned the loos are across the road in the public toilet only. Still we got some good views from the prom opposite.

Food’s great! We tried their corzo pasta with chicken and their full welsh bfast. Corzo pasta was light as I liked it, topped with chicken breast and some salad, perfect plate for those who want balance. Full welsh was satisfyingly amazing too! Then we tried their espresso which I absolutely praise as I know they use quality beans. Full of flavour! Then, tried the famous welsh cake! Oh perfect with coffee. They offer tons of amazing dishes and pastries. Must-visit! These photos were taken after all the customers left as this place can be very busy on peak times!

We were lucky enough to find a free table in this obviously popular place at 1.30pm today ...... such friendly, helpful and patient staff giving fantastic service, the food was delicious and drinks spot-on. One of our new favourite places now, we'd highly recommend a visit! The pizzas are the best ever, so fresh but we couldn't manage to finish them so a takeaway box was provided, no problem! We found our meal great value for money and couldn't resist buying a couple of deli items (a jar of lobster terrine & a tin of olives with chilli) to take away.

The place is a con. Absolute disgrace , I ordered for my friend and I, a one piece of toast with cheese and two teas , so for a bit of cheese and two " yes 2 " slices of toast they charged me over £23 ??? I live up the road and see this going on all the time. They love to rip off tourists " in winter I ate there with my son. We had two enormous breakfasts best iv ever had with everything , and tea for two " which cost £26 just over. Not bad. But as soon as a weekend, bank holiday, or the sun shines, you better be prepared for open wallet surgery" iv just had two conversations with the boss ". Who agreed he doesn't sell cheese on toast and said they only call it Welsh rarebit lol. It's the same thing. , Then calls me abusive. The gentleman who was with me is my witnesses , he is 87 years old and could not believe what they charged me. And he says it's then warranted at that price. , ? He types one thing and says another. , Liable he says. Bring it on " it's a rip off , and they get away with it as no one complains. He say my review of the first visit was not there , well trust me it's the finest food , and most handsome breakfast I ever had anywhere in the world, worth every penny, but that visit, was a complete rip off the girls there must remember the conversation as most customers could not believe my bill either. , But great...

We stopped at this restaurant for a dinner one evening on our holiday, and we were very pleased with our experience here. The service and food were both fantastic. I had the sea food pizza, and what a joy it was! I can honestly say it was the best pizza I have had anywhere in the UK. As we enjoyed this place so much, we stopped for breakfast another day. My sister also said her meal was the best breakfast she has ever had. I have also had numerous coffees and sausage sandwiches from the Coast to Go takeaway shop just up the road in Aberdyfi. Everything was superb. It has the perfect balance in being a relaxed atmosphere, while also serving high-quality dishes to an impressive standard. It is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The owner, too, is very friendly and welcoming. Oh and I forgot to mention - they are dog friendly!

Be sure to give this place a visit - I cannot recommend it...

Good food- we has sea bass which was great. Cheese board left much to be desired. No explanation on what kind of cheese are being served. OK service overall- they forgot to add our dessert in the bill so had to be reminded. Ambience left much to be desired. We booked two months in advance were given a crooked small table next the fridge which was very awkward and uncomfortable - given kids on the other table were playing loud games on their iPad and the fridge was in constant use. We asked to move but were told it was not possible. The least they could have done is to check in with us again towards the end if everything was all right and potentially acknowledge the awkward table setting. Having a dinner packed like sardines is not great. Be mindful if you are having a table for 1-2 people. Update: cheeky response from the owner well acknowledged who clearly know how to take frank feedback and is...
