We've been there twice in the past fortnight and have been disappointed each time. Both times there have been a lack of takeaway sandwiches.

Last time they offered to make us one; however this time I asked (there was 1 sandwich, it was ham and I'm veggie, and the place was empty when I went in). the waitresses was funny about me asking if they could make me an egg mayo sandwich to take away. (Apparently they're "getting all set for Easter" which has no relevance?). She reluctantly asked the kitchen who I could hear were grumpy about making one.

I sat down, visible number on a spoon as given, and waited...and waited...and waited... Meanwhile several groups of people came in and were served. Eventually I asked if they'd forgotten my sandwich to be told "it didn't go through to the kitchen"...she'd asked the kitchen before I paid!! I sat on a table right in front of them so I was visible, so there's no excuse! I'm diabetic and needed food, but couldn't wait for them to attempt to get their act together to make a simple sandwich, so I asked for a refund and left.

What makes me laugh is that they have "save our centre" stickers in the loo... Well seeing as there were more staff than customers, and the staff are totally incompetent, and none of the shops apart from the gin one were open even though it's the start of half term, I'm not surprised if it shuts. The cafe in particular needs new staff and...

Called in for a snack and ordered a teacake and a pot of tea along with the soup of the day. Money duly taken and told to go find seat. Food arrived but sadly soup was not hot and there was no cutlery to eat our food. My partner went back in to a long queue. Finally he came back but my soup was even cooler so I took it back and had to wait in the queue once more. The cook saw me and asked what the matter was (well I think that's what he asked me because I couldn't hear him). There was a look if dismay from him but no apology, he just walked miserably back into the kitchen. The young lady gave me a fresh bowl which had less soup in than my previous. Obviously this was my forefit. Staff were pleasant enough but too busy taking the money and to slow making the Barista coffee. Would I come again.....I'd have to...

We have been visiting this place for approx 20 years whilst on holiday, it's a bit of a tradition for us and we love visiting it, we always end up spending quite a bit of mone there as they have some really nice gifts. But this time we were a bit disappointed in the past the owners would always have time for a chat. But now they show you to the table and before you have time to sit down they are on you to take your order and that's all they seamed interested in and that's taking money. The staff look miserable and don't speak unless you want to buy. It doesn't cost anything to smile and ask how your days been or were your from or are you going anywhere nice. It's called...

The cafe was bright and airy with some nice decorative touches. There was a lot to choose from to eat and the cakes I saw looked very good, not sure about the bubblegum sprinkle cake though. What let it down a little bit for me was the staff looked like they were closing up for the day so i didn't bother to order a drink. I visited about 3:30PM so not sure what time they actually closed.

A nice welcome as you walk into the craft centre Perfect time for a nice coffee before the craft shops call. Prompt service and friendly staff awaits you. The cheesy chips is especially nice with the dragon cheddar. Tomatoe soup was good too. Background music was not too loud and everyone seemed really happy. I'd go here again if I was passing by.

This was a lovely experience. The staff were attentive and kind, and the place was warm and cosy. There are great views of the mountains from this cafe, and the food is great too. I especially liked the cake. I’d definitely come back here.
