Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Wales

I visit this particular shop on a regular basis as well as many other coffee shops around South Wales. I can honestly say that based on customer service alone this is the best coffee shop in South Wales. I regret that I do not know the staff names but there is a blonde lady who I am assuming is the manager and a dark haired lady. They are both amazing and are always smiling whenever I visit. The lady who I am assuming is the manager must work around the clock as she is always there, but still she has the same smile and customer service at all times.

I visited there with my 3 year old daughter recently on a Saturday morning which I do regularly but normally accompanied with my wife. Well on this particular morning, on my own, my daughter accidentally split her food and milk all over herself and the table. I rushed to clean up the mess which was getting everywhere. The two ladies came over to me and instead of complaining about the mess offered to help and replace the food. I was so impressed by the level of customer service that they showed me that I cleaned the mess myself anyway. My daughter was quite upset because of the mess she had made and started to cry but once again the staff came to the rescue with a paper cup with marshmallows in it and a flake. I am still stunned did Costa get the staff from a store in the USA? Do we do customer service like this in the UK? If Costa are looking for some model staff to base customer service training on then I think they should come and meet the staff at this store at Parc Plaza retail Park, Bridgend. Additional if anyone from Costa is reading this please make sure the two staff members that I mention receive some kind of customer service...

Poor customer service, dirty tables, disgusting toilets and no cctv to protect customers. I was personally attacked in there by another customer and the store did not do anything to remove the customers causing trouble. I was hit in the arm and was with my 6 month baby when a foreign couple; a man and his wife started swearing and being aggressive and as a male i was shocked. I had gone to a table after getting my drink as they walked in and then demanded that i remove myself as it was their seat, taking in consideration they never had their drink first.

Both the female and ass male manager are cowards and should of removed them from the coffee store.

i was a regular coffee drinker at this store and no longer will i step foot in this bad store again. Left with. bitter taste in my mouth and it left me so shaken that i had to call my partner as our baby was upset over it.

CCTV must be placed into these stores like starbucks's and Costa to protect customers abusing other customers and staff. Costa is more concerned placing CCTV on their tills rather then their customers protection and it shows me that they care more about protecting their cash, In case staff steal from them.

With this Costa,I have visited so many on different occasions and this is up there with my very favourite ones.the staff are very friendly,the cafe is very clean, it's always busy but there is plenty of available seating.i met my friend and ordered a pot of tea,suddenly I had to take an important phone call which lasted nearly an hour.when I returned I asked was it possible to have some hot water to top up.my tea and warm it up,the barista very,very kindly offered to make me a fresh one as she had noticed ,even though they were extremely busy,I had had to take my phone call.i thought that showed they noticed their customers,no matter how busy and was so thoughtful. I will always keep returning.also point out no matter how busy they were the staff were very happy...
