First ever one star review. KFC would be well served by closing this store. Utterly abysmal standards. I have been here 3 times now over a 2.5 year period and decide each time not to go back for a long time! I am all for giving places another chance, but I am now done.
1st time: the food made me ill.
2nd time: I had to wait about 25mins for the food after ordering and had no apology, and there was only 3 other customers in the store! All getting rather annoyed!
3rd time (tonight): I was the only customer in the store when I arrived but was there for almost 10 mins before they were willing to take my order. While waiting I had plenty of time to observe the comings and going of the staff. Bearing in mind current pandemic, the majority of staff in the kitchen were only wearing their masks on their chins, several were walking around eating and drinking between doing other stuff in the kitching (without washing their hands). I thought at least the supervisor was following the rules until he completely took the mask of before walking through the serving area. I was also rather annoyed by the attitude of the guy serving. He was working hard enough but was just rather rude. I was also a little put off that after making me wait he then walked off to pick up the phone half way through taking my order (there were other staff who could have done it!). Then I get my food. Gets dumped on the counter and walks off. I had to help myself to salt and a straw by reaching behind the protective screens. Then there is food. The chips were either old or cooked in a fryer not up to temp. I am not convinced one of the bits of meat was cooked properly. The one thing they did get right was the zinger burger apart from being only slightly warm (like the rest of the food).
I love KFC normally but this site is shocking and if this was my only experience of KFC I would right off all KFC's in future. Fortunately I have been to kfc's all over the uk and various places in Europe and this store is just an...
Read moreMy son and I came here on a rainy Sunday morning to be greeted by an expressionless man who proceeded to take our order.
Upon taking our order, he was informed by another member of staff that the 'crushems' machine was not in service. At this point you would think he would ask us if we would like another drink option... this did not happen.
So I pointed out that my son would require a different drink. Therefore ordering a Pepsi...
He asked me of thats all I needed, i then proceeded to order my food and a soft drink.
Moments later my order and another Pepsi came out.
When I asked if my son was getting his food, I was informed that I only ordered my food. Then when I repeated the entire conversations that we and the third member of staff had endured... I was told that I hadn't been very clear... so, I smiled and ordered again. Informing that we already have the Pepsi.
So to conclude: I paid twice for the Pepsi. No apology was offered and to cap it all off my sons order was wrong.
This is not the first time I have encountered bad service and customer...
Read moreChose what I wanted, but a few signboards were empty. So I ordered 3 bargain buckets. Was offered a receipt [ which is rare these days] I declined. Around the corner to delivery. Nice to see the employees orchestrated and making the meals [every takeaway should show the same as KFC] . I felt confident in my order. However, the takeaway bag's, OK for the environment, are not practical or large enough to accommodate 3 bargain buckets! I would encourage KFC to offer patrons of drive through, to bring their own carrier bag to the delivery point. Those brown paper bags holding your orders are out of date and a new solution found, such as seaweed extracted waterproof enzymes, or grease proof bag's [as in my childhood-I'm 64]. Other than this, I love my KFC. If your HQ search the records from the 1980's, you will find my market research on siting a KFC in the pontyclun areas. I was living in 5 Elwyn St. Coedely...
