This is such a cosy little cafe!
The service from the lady behind the counter was very lovely and very welcoming, we were lucky to catch Don Don Yatai at the time of opening for lunch so it was not busy at all, but being such a small venue I definitely recommend booking to make sure you get a table!
All of the food came out very quickly and piping hot. Everything looked and tasted amazing. I simply can not get enough of the lychee and apple green tea either.
At the end of our meal we were even gifted a free portion of gyoza on our next visit! We will definitely be coming back again to try other food on the menu.

Ahead of our visit the restaurant were great at organising our table and making sure to provide a high chair for our daughter which we really appreciated. The lady serving was lovely and very welcoming. The food was amazing, particularly enjoyed the gyoza - both me and my partner said it was the best we’d ever tasted. Would highly recommend the salmon uramaki, the crispy beef shank cubes and the lychee and apple green tea to drink. Although the place is small with only a few tables, the atmosphere is still nice and buzzing, and the lady serving us was very kind and helpful. I’d seen people complain of lack of parking, but parking is easy and free in the Aldi car park opposite. They don’t accept card, however, and the cash machine next door charges for withdrawals, so make sure to have some cash! Can’t wait...
