Greenhouse Cafe & Kitchen — Restaurant in Wales

We called in for breakfast on Monday 25 July 2022. It's a lovely setting in a lovely purpose built building with covered outside seating where dogs are allowed too. Brilliant!

The staff were friendly and the menu varied with thoughtful items for vegetarians and vegans. We both had different cooked breakfasts and sadly both were running in grease. The mushrooms oozed it, the hash browns were swimming in it and so was the plate.

Given the care and attention given to the building, the menu and the location I can only think that perhaps it was chefs day off because the ingredients were well chosen and of excellent quality but sadly spoilt by everything running in grease. If the ingredients had been grilled and therefore healthier and tastier, the breakfast would have been second to none. We'll try again in a week or two and fingers crossed we'll have a...

Lovely new food venue, across from a nice looking plant/ garden centre, yet to explore. My husbands hooked on the avocado toast. I couldn't resist the homemade sweetcorn/ chickpea fritters, so had the veggie breakfast, delicious but needed a takeaway bag. I'm not veggie but in a good food place they get some of the best tasting combinations. Busy popular place so they don't need to be kind and let us dog owners in. Lovely undercover outdoor area but wouldn't do much in heavy rain. A big problem for those if us visiting Wales with our dogs. Car park not really close enough to see if leave them in it. So missing point is only because of our problem with our dog. Otherwise well worth the slight detour or even a special trip if your like us and happy to pay a little bit more for a lot more quality...

Located on the same site as Kings Nurseries, there is ample parking available.

The cafe is lovely and clean, with really good value products. We have visited on a couple of occasions for coffee and cake.

On our latest visit we got to see plenty of the larger meals coming out of the kitchen, and they looked amazing! We will definitely be going for a proper lunch on our next visit!

Indoor and outdoor seating available, with a lovely outdoor terrace available for the warmer days.

On both occasions we have visited we have ordered at the till, and then it's table service from that point on, which is a nice touch in a cafe.
