Greggs — Restaurant in Wales

Came in with friends yesterday asked to eat in, was charged to eat it, then told to leave before I could sit down because there was a ‘no more than a group of 3’ rule. We were a group of 6, seconds later a group of 5 came in and were allowed to be seated. Today we come in, my friend tries to buy something, was told she didn’t have enough and goes to sit with me who had purchased a meal. Another friend bought something and was told by a stern experienced woman that me and the friend who went to sit down that we know what we are doing and to leave. We sit down and seconds after we begin eating we are told to leave immediately, we weren’t causing an issue and we were sat in groups of 3 on tables. I recently realised I am getting addidcted to Gregg's bakes and felt I couldnt help ordering more !! I always have takeaways, today asked for takeaway but thought to sit for a bit during my break , I asked for takeaway though (my fault) just thought the packaging was different .. As I sat down , one of the staff came to me telling me why I said takeaway if I want to stay ! It could be told in a nicer way or to try to understand why I have done that, it seemed like I have done it in purpose !! I appreciate maybe she was in a rush or has lots of work , I then paid for staying but they didn't explain or say something nice It just put me off and don't think I will enjoy it anymore, sadly.

Apart from that , nice food and...

I'm truly baffled by this place. At a city or even a lorry stop, you're usually served within five minutes. Here, it feels like it's run by a kid, and the staff are incredibly slow and more interested in talking amongst themselves. It took a ridiculous seven minutes to complete a simple order of three items. It's as if they don't care about their jobs or even want to be there. To top it off, there's an older woman who looks like she's retired from a library, and she seems to take the longest, completely clueless about what she's doing. also they seam to run out of thing all the time and put as little as they can...
