Greggs — Restaurant in Wales

Popped into Greggs in Barry for a quick lunch, being vegan I’m so impressed that this company has made slight adjustments to their every day food in order to accommodate our food choices. The new vegan turkey & stuffing baguette was lovely, my partner had the new vegan curry pasty which was also very nice though as I often find, if you don’t arrive when the vegan bakes are fresh out the oven, the turn over of these items mean they can go cold before all sold and before a new batch is cooked. More people need to try these as they are full of flavour. Anyway, can’t complain about the food, not much in comparison for the prices out there so very grateful. Not very good service breakfast was appalling no egg and told no sausage. Waited in a que for 10mins ordered myself and daughter a breakfast roll told no egg or sausage so opted for 2 bacon rolls. Then to my surprise the customer after me asked for a breakfast baguette with everything and the women gave sausage. I obviously said to the guy that served me I thought there was no sausage and his reply was " there is none" well what was that🤔 SASAUGE!! Was so annoyed sounds petty but considering he didn't even look and just assumed!!...

Brilliant! Always found the staff extremely helpful at this branch. I've also just realised they deliver, orders arrive really quickly and food is always fresh. It's been really helpful for me as I've been housebound for a week due to illness. Keep up the good work all at Greggs!!

UPDATE: The new collection point just doesn't work out well. I've ordered food for collection and now you've got to wait in the normal queue while your food is going cold on the side. You may want to rethink that, it was better on the other side...
